  • 45 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 can (12.4 oz) store-bought cinnamon rolls
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 standard 9-inch pie dish (greased)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with sugar and ground cinnamon until they are evenly coated.
  3. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread them evenly in the greased baking dish.
  4. Layer the spiced apple mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples are tender and bubbly.
  6. Drizzle icing from the cinnamon roll can over the warm pie before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, drizzled with icing or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store covered in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
