- 4–5 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 can (12.4 oz) store-bought cinnamon rolls
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 standard 9-inch pie dish (greased)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with sugar and ground cinnamon until they are evenly coated.
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread them evenly in the greased baking dish.
- Layer the spiced apple mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples are tender and bubbly.
- Drizzle icing from the cinnamon roll can over the warm pie before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, drizzled with icing or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store covered in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
