Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the buttermilk, sugar, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Gently combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, folding them together to maintain a light texture.
  5. Fold in the holiday sprinkles.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan and slicing.
