Ingredients

  • Fresh mint leaves or edible flowers (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Whip egg whites in a clean bowl until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in sugar and cornstarch to create a glossy meringue.
  4. Spread meringue onto a lined baking sheet and bake until crisp, about 1 hour.
  5. While cooling, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Prepare your fruit by washing and cutting as needed.
  7. Once the meringue has cooled, layer in a glass dish: start with meringue, then cream, followed by fruit. Repeat layering until ingredients are used up.
  8. Garnish with mint leaves or edible flowers and serve immediately.

Notes
