Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix together dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and sugar.
- In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Gently combine the dry and wet mixtures, folding in the sprinkles without overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle a few more sprinkles on top.
- Bake until golden brown, about 50 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother batter and better rise. Avoid using sprinkles that bleed color.
