- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, spread a base layer of marinara sauce.
- Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta cheese, half of the ground beef, half of the spinach, and a layer of mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with a final layer of noodles and topped with remaining marinara sauce and cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil, add Parmesan cheese, and bake for an additional 20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, replace the ground beef with sautéed vegetables. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
