Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup fresh or canned cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, simmer cranberries, sugar, and vinegar on the stovetop until they burst and thicken into a sauce.
  6. Combine the baked meatballs with the cranberry sauce in a pan to meld the flavors.

Notes

Let meatballs rest in the fridge for about 15 minutes before baking to help them keep their shape.
