  • 1/4 cup milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in eggs and sugar until well blended.
  4. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let the brownies cool completely before frosting.
  8. For frosting, beat together powdered sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk until smooth.
  9. Spread frosting over cooled brownies and cut into squares.
