Description
A fast, healthy dessert combining sweet strawberries with tangy Greek yogurt and a chocolate coating for a satisfying crunch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 large strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt (whole-milk or 2% recommended)
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 oz dark chocolate (70% recommended)
- 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
- Pinch of fine salt
Instructions
- Whisk yogurt, honey, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Chill briefly if needed.
- Spoon or pipe about 1 tsp of yogurt mixture onto each strawberry half. Freeze until firm, about 1–2 hours.
- Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave. Stir in coconut oil.
- Remove yogurt-topped strawberries from the freezer. Dip each into the chocolate, letting excess drip back. Return to tray.
- Freeze again for 30–60 minutes to set.
Notes
Pat strawberries dry after washing to prevent ice crystals. Use full-fat Greek yogurt for best texture.
