Description

A fast, healthy dessert combining sweet strawberries with tangy Greek yogurt and a chocolate coating for a satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt (whole-milk or 2% recommended)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 oz dark chocolate (70% recommended)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
  • Pinch of fine salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk yogurt, honey, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Chill briefly if needed.
  2. Spoon or pipe about 1 tsp of yogurt mixture onto each strawberry half. Freeze until firm, about 1–2 hours.
  3. Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave. Stir in coconut oil.
  4. Remove yogurt-topped strawberries from the freezer. Dip each into the chocolate, letting excess drip back. Return to tray.
  5. Freeze again for 30–60 minutes to set.

Notes

Pat strawberries dry after washing to prevent ice crystals. Use full-fat Greek yogurt for best texture.
