Ingredients

- 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 4 cups cold milk
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 package (14 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos work best)
- 1 bag gummy worms
- Optional: candy pumpkins, candy eyes, sprinkles, gummy dinosaurs, or mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk the pudding mixes with cold milk until thickened. Chill in the refrigerator.
- Pulse the cookies in a food processor until finely crushed. Alternatively, you can crush them in a bag with a rolling pin.
- Beat the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar together until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
- Stir the cream mixture into the pudding mixture.
- In a 9×13 dish or trifle bowl, layer the crushed cookies and pudding mixture, repeating until full. Finish with cookie crumbs on top.
- Add gummy worms and other themed decorations before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add fresh gummies and decorations before serving again.
