Description

Delightful cookies that perfectly blend rich cocoa with refreshing mint, featuring beautiful crackled tops.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure mint extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the sugar, oil, eggs, and mint extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients to form a thick, sticky dough.
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and coat them in powdered sugar.
  7. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set and the tops have cracked.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
