- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1/4 cup chopped nuts or different chocolate chips (white, dark, peanut butter)
Instructions
- Cream together the room temperature butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and egg, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold in chocolate chips and optional mix-ins.
- Chill the cookie dough for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, melt butter and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Whisk together sugar and eggs until thick, then add the melted cocoa mixture.
- Incorporate flour, baking powder, and salt until blended.
- Grease a mini muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
- Spoon brownie batter into each cup, press a cookie dough ball into the center, and cover with more brownie batter.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-18 minutes until edges are set but centers remain gooey.
- Cool in the pan before removing or chill before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure your butter is at room temperature and do not overbake to keep the centers gooey.
