- 1 lb chicken breast, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 small tortillas
- Fresh toppings: cilantro, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, lime wedges
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and sauté the marinated chicken until cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
- Slice the cooked chicken and warm the tortillas in a dry skillet.
- Assemble tacos by placing chicken in tortillas and adding your favorite toppings.
Notes
For added flavor, let the chicken marinate for up to an hour. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F (75°C).
