- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Pita bread
- Assorted toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles)
- 1 cup garlic yogurt sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add chicken to the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated; cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Once cooked, remove chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Warm pita bread, then fill with sliced chicken and assorted toppings.
- Drizzle with garlic yogurt sauce and wrap the pita securely.
