- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips

- Skewers (wooden or metal)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (for sauce)
- 1 teaspoon sugar (for sauce)
- 2 tablespoons coconut milk (for sauce)
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for sauce)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, lime juice, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- For the peanut sauce, mix peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, sugar, coconut milk, and chili flakes in a bowl until smooth.
- Serve the chicken satay with the peanut sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
For more flavor, marinate the chicken for an hour or more. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
