Description

A comforting and hearty Chicken and Rice Casserole with tender chicken and fluffy rice in a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine uncooked rice, chicken pieces, cream of chicken soup, and water.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
  6. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can substitute with leftover chicken to reduce baking time.
