- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package directions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Season and sear the chicken pieces until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and chicken, tossing to coat thoroughly.
- Serve garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley.
Notes
For best results, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Reserve some pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
