Description

Crispy golden egg rolls filled with a creamy, sweet, and tangy cherry cheesecake filling.


Ingredients

  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Stir in cherry pie filling gently.
  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
  4. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and roll tightly, sealing the edges.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with chocolate sauce.

Notes

Use fresh egg roll wrappers for best results. Ensure the oil is sufficiently hot when frying to avoid sogginess.
