Description

Delicious and easy cheesy sausage biscuit bites perfect for snacks or appetizers that everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • Ready-made biscuit dough (1 can or about 8 ounces)
  • Ground sausage (8 ounces)
  • Shredded cheese (Mozzarella or cheddar, 1 cup)
  • Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Salt (to taste, about 1/4 teaspoon)
  • Black pepper (to taste, about 1/4 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil or butter (1 tablespoon for sautéing)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter, and cook the ground sausage. Break it apart as it browns. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Once cooked through and fragrant, remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) so it’s ready for the bites.
  3. Roll out the biscuit dough on a flat surface and cut it into small squares or bite-sized rounds. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture in the center of each piece. Top it with shredded cheese, then fold or pinch the dough to seal the filling inside.
  4. Arrange the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure to leave space between each.
  5. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through, and the cheese is melted inside.
  6. Remove the bites from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes to help the cheese set a little.

Notes

Serve warm as a snack or appetizer with dipping sauces like ketchup, ranch, or barbecue. Can be customized with different fillings.
