- 30 oz frozen hash browns
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup melted butter (for topping)
- Additional cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients.
- In a large bowl, mix frozen hash browns, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and onion powder until well combined.
- Grease the crockpot with nonstick spray or melted butter; pour the mixture in and spread evenly.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top and sprinkle additional cheese if desired.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours without lifting the lid too often to maintain heat.
- Stir gently before serving warm.
Notes
Serve as a main dish or side. Pair with grilled meats or a green salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for 2 months.
