Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (for topping)
  • Additional cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. In a large bowl, mix frozen hash browns, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Grease the crockpot with nonstick spray or melted butter; pour the mixture in and spread evenly.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the top and sprinkle additional cheese if desired.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours without lifting the lid too often to maintain heat.
  6. Stir gently before serving warm.
