A fast and flavorful pasta dish featuring smoky kielbasa and melted cheddar, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 12 ounces pasta
- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil pasta in 4 quarts of salted water until al dente, about 9–11 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear sliced kielbasa for 4–6 minutes until browned; remove.
- Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in the same skillet until soft.
- Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, then add heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan off the heat until smooth.
- Return kielbasa and drained pasta to the skillet; toss to combine.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a baked version, transfer to a baking dish, top with extra cheddar, and bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes until bubbly.
