Ingredients

  • 1 pound (about 500 g) fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 1 and 1/4 cups mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons shredded fresh parmesan
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped (or 1 tablespoon pre-minced garlic)
  • 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and spray a baking sheet with nonstick oil.
  2. Spread green beans on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the oil mixture over the green beans and toss to coat.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until bright and slightly crisp.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of the beans.
  7. Broil for an additional 4 or 5 minutes until the cheese is melty and golden.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
