- 1 pound (about 500 g) fresh green beans, ends trimmed
- 1 and 1/4 cups mozzarella, shredded
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons shredded fresh parmesan
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped (or 1 tablespoon pre-minced garlic)
- 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and spray a baking sheet with nonstick oil.
- Spread green beans on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the oil mixture over the green beans and toss to coat.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until bright and slightly crisp.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of the beans.
- Broil for an additional 4 or 5 minutes until the cheese is melty and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a flavor twist, try using different types of cheese or adding red pepper flakes for some heat.
