Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips, season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak in Cajun seasoning and olive oil for a few hours before cooking. Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for a creamier texture.
