- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pinching seams to seal.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with 1 cup granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent dough layer in the baking dish.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese layer, pinching seams together.
- Brush melted butter over the top crescent roll layer. Mix ground cinnamon with 2 tablespoons sugar and sprinkle on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
Drizzle with honey or cherry sauce before serving for an extra touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
