- 1 1/4 cups Heavy Cream (300ml)
- 1/2 cup Milk (125ml)
- 4 Egg Yolks
- 1/3 cup Sugar for Custard (70g)
- 4 tablespoons Sugar for Topping
- 1 Vanilla Pod (or extract)
Instructions
- Mix the heavy cream, milk, egg yolks, and sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla pod for flavor.
- Pour the mixture into foil cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Place the filled cups on the Brava oven tray and set aside additional cups with sugar.
- Bake in the Brava oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- Chill the custards for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.
- Before serving, sprinkle sugar on top of the custards and use a torch to caramelize until golden brown.
Notes
Ensure to chill the custards properly for the best texture, and use high-quality aluminum foil cups for best results.
