Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups Heavy Cream (300ml)
  • 1/2 cup Milk (125ml)
  • 4 Egg Yolks
  • 1/3 cup Sugar for Custard (70g)
  • 4 tablespoons Sugar for Topping
  • 1 Vanilla Pod (or extract)

Instructions

  1. Mix the heavy cream, milk, egg yolks, and sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla pod for flavor.
  2. Pour the mixture into foil cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
  3. Place the filled cups on the Brava oven tray and set aside additional cups with sugar.
  4. Bake in the Brava oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  5. Chill the custards for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle sugar on top of the custards and use a torch to caramelize until golden brown.

Notes

Ensure to chill the custards properly for the best texture, and use high-quality aluminum foil cups for best results.
