Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 8 oz twisted pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the twisted pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
Make sure to cook the chicken until it’s fully done. Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference. For extra flavor, add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers when sautéing garlic.
