Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 14 oz udon noodles
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef in soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and sesame oil for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Soak udon noodles in hot water for a few minutes and drain.
  3. In a hot skillet or wok, stir-fry the marinated beef until browned.
  4. Add bell pepper and broccoli and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Toss in the udon noodles and stir everything until heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the beef overnight. Use a wok for even cooking and avoid overcrowding the pan.
