Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat while stirring constantly.

  3. In a large bowl, mix the browned butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients until everything is mixed well.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop the dough into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
