Ingredients

Instructions
- Wash and chop ripe tomatoes, discarding any stems.
- Blend the tomatoes until smooth, then strain to remove skins if desired.
- Heat the blended tomatoes in a pot.
- Add salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
- Simmer to enhance flavors, stirring occasionally.
- Serve chilled or warm as desired.
Notes
Use heirloom or Roma tomatoes for best flavor. Adjust seasoning gradually to achieve desired taste.
