Description

Ingredients

  • Fresh ripe tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • Optional: jalapeños, basil, oregano, or thyme

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop fresh tomatoes.
  2. Simmer the chopped tomatoes until soft, about 30 minutes.
  3. Blend the softened tomatoes until smooth.
  4. Strain the blended mixture to remove seeds and skins.
  5. Season the juice with salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
