A unique twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich featuring creamy Brie cheese and sweet blueberry jam.

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons blueberry jam or blueberry pie filling
  • 1/8 cup Brie cheese, cut into slices
  • 2 slices classic white bread
  • 3 teaspoons softened salted butter

Instructions

  1. Rub the softened butter over one side of each bread slice, making sure to cover the edges.
  2. On the plain side of one slice, stack the Brie and spread the blueberry jam on top.
  3. Place the other slice of bread on top, butter side out.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and carefully place the sandwich in the skillet.
  5. Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes until you see a golden color and the Brie is gooey.
  6. Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and enjoy while it’s hot.

Notes

Best served warm. Pair with fresh fruit or salad. Can be reheated in a skillet if leftovers occur.
