- 8 slices bacon
- 2 large ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 2 cups romaine or green leaf lettuce, washed
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 10-inch flour tortillas
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for baking bacon or heat a skillet to medium.
- Cook bacon until crisp, about 15–20 minutes in the oven on a rack or 6–8 minutes per batch in a skillet.
- Slice tomatoes into 1/4-inch slices and wash the lettuce.
- Spread mayo mixed with lemon juice on the tortillas.
- Layer lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon on top, then roll tightly.
- Toast the wrapped tortillas in a hot skillet for 30–60 seconds per side if desired.
Notes
Make sure to pat dry the cooked bacon to reduce greasiness. This wrap is best enjoyed fresh to avoid sogginess.
