A spooky and delicious baked brie wrapped in puff pastry and drizzled with raspberry or cherry preserves for a festive treat.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons raspberry or cherry preserves (for “blood”)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: Extra preserves for drizzling after baking

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry and place the brie in the center.
  3. Spoon the raspberry or cherry preserves over the brie, being generous for a dramatic effect.
  4. Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing the edges. Decorate with any pastry scraps if desired.
  5. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25–30 minutes until the pastry is golden and puffed.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then drizzle with more preserves, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Pairs well with crackers, fresh fruit, or baguette slices. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
