Description

A warm beverage combining yacon syrup, lemon juice, and cinnamon to satisfy your sweet tooth without the calorie crash.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons yacon syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Optional: tiny pinch of sea salt and a small slice of ginger

Instructions

  1. Heat water until hot but not boiling.
  2. Stir in yacon syrup until fully dissolved.
  3. Add lemon juice, cinnamon, and ginger if using. Taste and adjust sweetness by a half teaspoon at a time.
  4. Sip slowly before breakfast to help curb that immediate sugar hunt.

Notes

This recipe can also be served cold by stirring the mixture into iced water.
