Description

A fiber-rich, tangy drink that supports appetite control and energy levels, perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces cold water
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger or a pinch of ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Small pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 to 3 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Stir the chia and flax into the water, let sit for 5 minutes to let them plump up.
  2. Add the vinegar, lemon juice, ginger, honey (if using), and cinnamon. Stir again.
  3. Toss in the ice cubes and sip slowly, preferably before breakfast or as a mid-morning pick-me-up.

Notes

You can customize the drink by swapping honey for less sweetness, ginger for mint, or blending in frozen berries. For a warm version, use warm water and skip the ice.
