A comforting and hearty one-pan dish featuring seasoned beef and a creamy, savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80-85% lean)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 can creamy soup or homemade gravy
  • 4 cups sliced potatoes or noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a pan with onion and garlic until fully cooked.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Layer the cooked beef in a baking dish.
  5. Combine the creamy soup or gravy with the potatoes or noodles and pour over beef.
  6. Top with shredded cheese if desired.

Notes

Cheddar cheese adds a cozy touch, but you can also use provolone for a milder flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
