Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- ½ cup unsweetened natural peanut butter (NO xylitol)
- 1 egg
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 2–4 tablespoons water (as needed for texture)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
- Stir in the peanut butter and egg until everything is combined well.
- Gradually add the flour and cinnamon. If the mixture is too dry, add water 1 tablespoon at a time until you have a pliable dough.
- Roll out the dough to about ½-inch thickness. Cut it into stick shapes or use cookie cutters for fun shapes.
- Place the shaped dough on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden and firm.
- Let the treats cool completely before giving them to your dog.
