- 1 lb fresh salmon, skinless
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 avocado
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 cup cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine fresh salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through.
- For the avocado sauce, blend avocado, lime juice, and cilantro in a food processor until smooth.
- Serve the baked salmon meatballs with the avocado sauce on the side.
Notes
Use fresh salmon for the best flavor. Don’t overmix the ingredients to ensure tender meatballs.
