- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Mayo
- 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Chipotle Chili Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until fully covered.
- In another bowl, whisk together the olive oil, mayo, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, chipotle chili powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Dip the flour-coated chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- Optionally, broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
Notes
Make sure to cut the chicken into even pieces for even cooking. Adjust cayenne pepper to desired spice level. Allow wings to sit in sauce for enhanced flavor.
