Description

These baked chicken tacos are a fun and flavorful twist on traditional tacos, made with tender chicken and an array of fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup taco seasoning
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, avocado, cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté diced onions and garlic in a pan until fragrant.
  3. Add cooked, shredded chicken, taco seasoning, and chicken broth to the pan. Mix until combined and heated through.
  4. Fill taco shells with the chicken mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  5. Place the filled taco shells upright in a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve with your choice of toppings.
