Elevate your game day snacks with these flavorful Baked Berbere Chicken Wings paired with a refreshing Zesty Lime Dip.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp berbere spice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • For the Zesty Lime Dip: 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tbsp lime juice, 1 tsp lime zest, Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken wings in a mix of berbere spice, olive oil, and lemon juice for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Place the marinated wings on a wire rack set on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. For the Zesty Lime Dip, combine sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Serve the wings immediately with the lime dip.

Notes

Wings are best enjoyed hot out of the oven. For an extra kick, add cayenne pepper to the marinade.
