Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups tart apples, peeled and diced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk the milk and eggs together.
- Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced apples.
- Scoop dollops of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with maple syrup. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
