Instructions
- Sift together almond flour and powdered sugar to prevent clumps.
- Whip egg whites into a stiff meringue.
- Fold in dry ingredients until the batter reaches a “lava-like” texture.
- Pipe macarons onto baking sheets and let rest until a skin forms.
- Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- Let cool completely before filling with applesauce buttercream.
