Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and granulated sugar together in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing.
  5. Toss the diced apples with a bit of flour, then gently fold into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan.
