Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Optional: chopped nuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine diced apples, caramel sauce, and cinnamon.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple filling in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the pastry over to create a parcel and crimp the edges tightly.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes
