These Apple Brownies are a delightful twist on traditional brownies, packed with juicy apple goodness and spices for a comforting fall treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups diced apples (preferably Granny Smith and Honeycrisp)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the diced apples and nuts if using.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with caramel sauce for an extra touch.
