Description
Delicious and healthier Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Fries, crispy and golden with a savory touch of garlic and cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them evenly into fry-sized sticks to ensure uniform cooking.
- Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch and help achieve extra crispiness.
- After soaking, thoroughly pat the fries dry using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels to remove moisture.
- Toss the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spread the fries out in a single layer in the air fryer basket to avoid overcrowding.
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking or tossing the basket halfway through to ensure even browning and crispiness.
- Once the fries are golden and crispy, transfer them to a large bowl. Immediately sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley, tossing gently so the cheese melts slightly and coats every fry.
- Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces or as a side dish.
Notes
Soaking the fries is key for crispiness. Make sure to dry them thoroughly before seasoning.
